Such a cool concept and this was a really nice place to go on a super hot day here in New Orleans! Good: - Huge portion sizes - for $6 you get more ice cream than you can eat for 1 person - Fast service, and the staff were so nice! They also let us try the flavors before finalizing our choice - The strawberry shortcake flavor was delicious. I did feel like the shaved ice kind of tasted like ice cream and not just a typical shaved ice. It's creamy for some reason but it's just ice! Bad: - There's limited outdoor seating so you end up just standing around unless 1 of the benches free up Overall this was such a cool experience! I liked how we found this place on one of the hottest days in New Orleans and it automatically cooled us down.

Saw this on Samantha Brown’s show. I wasn’t sure if we were headed the right way because it’s amidst a residential area. There was a line when we arrived. I loved the atmosphere with all of the old decor and original signs and machines! Such a fabulous little place with delicious treats and friendly staff!

Amazing! Unlike any other snow cone I have ever had. The texture of the ice is like powder and the syrups are unique and flavorful. We had honey-lavender and passion fruit, and another with honey lavender and hibiscus. (Both were gluten free)

Line out the door but worth the (long) wait. Finest shaved ice I've ever had. And the syrup was not heavy and fake like in BR. I always tell snowball ppl up there to go easy on the syrup because it's so slimy. But this time, I regret asking it. The syrup was light and natural and I could've just drank it.

Solid 8 out of 10. Great selection of customization for whatever snowball you want, portion sizes are generous, and the mom-and-pop atmosphere is quite welcoming. If I could suggest anything, it would be to add more icecream flavors beyond vanilla, and maybe a dollar reduction in the larger sizes, but other than that, baker's kiss.
